Joe is still back at work so today was Grampa Shawn's day (my dad hence the middle name!)
Here is a picture of my dad and Josh (I think he is a proud Grampa what do you think!)

Josh had a great day today, he took his bottles at midnight, 4am, 8am. I nursed him at 12pm and he was on for 15 minutes. Then at 4pm it was like he ran a marathon, he nursed for 25 minutes! This time Josh's nurse didn't put any of his feeds down his tube! The tube that he gets his feeds through when he doesn't finish his feeds. This tube also needs to be changed tomorrow, so instead of changing the nurse feels like he could try life without it! Great news! Hopefully if he stays on this track he will be home soon. What they told us in our family meeting was, Josh needs to feed for 48 hours without the tube and he needs to either maintain or gain weight (basically not loose weight) for that time as well. So if everyone reading this blog (I know there is a lot of you...) keeps your fingers crossed hopefully we will be home soon!
Here is any other outfit picture...... many people told me to keep posting it...

quick update... After Grampa Shawn left and Joe got to the hospital Josh was up and ready to eat, even tho it had only been 3 hours. Great sign, I fed him again and he had another marathon feed of 25 minutes! Joe and Josh also got a lot of play time in.... both them are night owls! It was really great to see him so wide awake and ready to play!
Great job Josh your getting the hang of it!!!!!
