Day 9

Overall Josh had another good day...

He has been offered the bottle or me every feed for the last 24 hours! Great news... however he gets tired pretty soon after he starts feeding. He will go at it for maybe 5- 10 minutes then he falls right back to sleep. The most he took today was 25cc. My hormones must be in check today because I am finally seeing that he just isn't ready to come home yet. He hasn't built up the strength/stamina to feed for as long as he needs.

He did however get his first bath today. He hated every minute of it. Joe and I got the biggest kick out of his facial expressions. He now smells like a million bucks. We also got to put him in clothes from home! We had a ton of outfits to choose from. We don't have any pictures of his first bath, it was pretty stressful for the 3 of us considering he screamed the entire time!

The nurse he has today is one of our favorites. She has had Josh many times. She had him last Monday and she said we should be very pleased with his progress because he really has come so far in only a week!

Josh also maintained his body temperature all day and he can now go in a crib! After we weigh him at 8pm he will go in a crib for the night!

On another note... Josh had a pleasant visit with Matthew Wolcott and his lovely wife Jen. Josh slept most of the visit, however Matt's voice must had has some effect on Josh. When we returned from lunch Josh had his biggest poopy diaper ever!
